Member Benefits
There are several benefits to becoming a member. Among these is the fact that competing in any WSWC sanctioned tournament in Ontario requires membership. The types of membership and the benefits of each are described below. Each membership is valid from the latter of Jan 1 of each year or the date of registration, through to Jan 30th of the following year. Note that the annual AGM board meeting to which all WSWO members are invited usually takes place mid-January of each year.
New Members
Creating an account is simple, free and allows WSWO to keep you up to date on all the latest water ski news in Ontario! Once you have created your account you can proceed to take out a membership subscription, in turn providing you with many benefits depending on your choice of membership type.
Existing / Renewing Members
Please fill out the form to create an account using your current membership number or login to your account from last year if you have previously registered through the new platform. Once you have created your account you can proceed to renew your membership subscription.
Watersports Clubs & Schools

Membership Types
Adult Membership - $50.00
This is our most popular membership type and importantly, it includes a competitive license with WSWC. This competitive license is a requirement for participation in all sanctioned towed water sport tournaments in Canada.
This membership is for individuals who belong to any WSWO affiliate club, who wish to participate in any of our sanctioned contests, tournaments, events or courses. In addition, this membership provides access to the TOWSMART boat insurance , athlete insurance and other insurance offerings.
This membership is also for instructors, coaches and/or officials at WSWO/WSWC run event (usually tournaments). This membership will keep a record of your credentials in our database of active certified coaches, instructors and officials.
Youth Membership - $40.00
This membership type also includes a competitive license with WSWC. This competitive license is a requirement for participation in all sanctioned towed water sport tournaments in Canada.
This membership is for those individuals 16 years of age and under as of January 1st for the year the membership is purchased. The other perks of this membership are identical to an Adult membership (see above).
This membership will keep a record of your credentials in our database of active certified coaches, instructors and officials.
Grassroots Membership - $15.00
This membership is for recreational watersports enthusiasts who would like to participate in a local event, or get more involved in wakeboard, wakepark, wakesurf, waterski, showski, barefoot, adaptive and other areas of towed watersports.
These members receive information-based services (emails, tips, local events, location of watersports facilities in their area, the ability to post classified ads, receive the annual magazine etc). It is great for those who are new to the sport and want to get involved with Water Ski Wakeboard Ontario!
School/Club/Camp Memberships - $100.00
Membership is valid from January 1 - December 31st of each year.
For organizations such as schools, clubs, and summer camps that are interested in obtaining WSWC Liability Insurance and/or hosting WSWO sanctioned events and/or participating in programs that require membership.
