Draft List of Ontario Card Nominations Announced!
Water Ski Wakeboard Ontario is pleased to announce a draft list of athletes and alternates who have been nominated for Ontario Cards under the 2019-2020 Quest for Gold - Ontario Athlete Assistance Program (OAAP). The athletes nominated were selected using the sport specific selection criteria developed by Water Ski Wakeboard Ontario and applied by (the) Selection Committee.
Athelete Selection Criteria Now Available!
WSWO is pleased to announce the Quest for Gold selection criteria for 2020! Quest for Gold is funded by the Government of Ontario, through the Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries (MHSTCI), and operated through the Sport, Recreation & Community Programs Division. The overarching goal of the Quest for Gold – OAAP is directly related to the High Performance Sport goal of the Canadian Sport Policy – that Canadians are systematically achieving world-class results at the highest levels of international competition – by improving the performance and number of Ontario athletes performing at the national and international level, thereby contributing to the improved performance of Canada at international competitions
At WSWO we are excited to continue our involvement in offering this assistance program to our Ontario athletes, and are pleased to announce that the athlete selection criteria is now posted online! Please note that March 31, 2020 is the final application date, as noted in section 10.0 using the accompanying application form.
To apply: All required information: - athlete’s name, address, birth date, tournament performance metrics and additional supporting information as required by the specific discipline criteria, must be submitted no later than March 31, 2020 to the WSWO office as stated in the criteria. Any athlete requesting a "Residency Exception" must also submit this information by March 18, 2020.

Note that 24 January, 2018 is the final application date, as noted in section 10.0 using the accompanying application form. Contact WSWO for further information.

Quest for Gold is an athlete assistance program funded by the Government of Ontario. The program is directly related to enhancing excellence and improving the performance and number of Ontario athletes performing at the national and international level.
At WSWO we are excited to continue our involvement in offering this assistance program to our Ontario athletes, and are pleased to announce that the athlete selection criteria template is now posted online! Please note that for the 2016-2017 year, the wakeboard discipline will be receiving the split carding option.
To apply: All required information: athlete’s name, address, birth date, tournament performance metrics and additional supporting information as required by the specific discipline criteria, must be submitted no later than December 4th 2016 to the WSWO office as stated in the criteria. Any athlete requesting a "Residency Exception" must also submit this information by December 4, 2016.
