Request for Quotes: 2011 Instructors Course

We are currently seeking bids for the 2011 Instructors Course.

 

The course will be held June 17-20th. Prospective camps or any other organization that might be interested in hosting the 2011 course should email office@wswo.ca for additional information regarding the course requirements. The deadline for quotes is December 3, 2010.


Request for Proposals: WSWO Rip and Ride Instructions Course

 

1. Accommodations for 80 students
    a. Separate male and female areas
    b. With washrooms and showers

 

2. Separate Learning Facilitators area and cabins
    a. Separate male and female cabins
    b. Private meeting area close to cabins with couches, seats etc.

 

3. 3 meals per day for up to 100 people with varying dietary needs
    a. Including evening snack, water and serve yourself snacks

 

4. 3-5 waterski boats, at least 1 inboard
    a. with all safety equipment
    b. fuel on site

 

5. Basic ski equipment (skis, life jackets, ropes)
    a. at least 4 sets

 

6. Basic wakeboard and kneeboard equipment
    a. 1 set of each

 

7. Waterfront with no other activities happening
    a. 3 separate docking locations, safe distance apart
    b. must be able to run a minimum of 3 boats simultaneously
    c. must be able to start early mornings (6 am and run until sunset)
    d. calm, free of traffic

 

8. Meeting area/ seminar room able to hold 100 people
    a. In class sessions
    b. Electricity for video equipment and TV, etc
    c. 2 separate exam areas, one with the ability to write exams, the other with the ability to be cleared for practical exams (ie gym)

 

9. Activity area for downtime (ie volleyball court)
