
The Ranch Wake Park will play host to the 2011 SkiAbility Instructor Training Course on September 16 - 17, 2011 in Newmarket, ON.
About SkiAbility Instructing
Learn about a variety of disabilities and towed water sports equipment and how it will affect your athletes on the water when coaching them. Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada (WSWC) officially launched SkiAbility in June 2005. The program focuses on increasing participation in water skiing and other towed water sports for persons with a disability.
Event Information
Qualified SkiAbility instructors provide participants with all of the necessary training and equipment to ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experience.
There will be two days of training. Day 1 will be theory about different disability and the equipment used in towed water sports to teach participants. Day 2 will be using this theory on the water to gain experience.
The camp will also feature Canadian Paralympian Sledge Hockey player Graeme Murray, who will share his experiences in sport and ride with you!
Cost: The cost of registration for training is $50, which includes:
• Accommodation: Two nights at the Best Western Voyageur Place.
• Travel: either flight costs (pre-approved only) or mileage to and from the site.
• Meals: Per diems given as required.

instructors.
